In my future I see myself graduating from college with my masters in law enforcement. I will become a police officer for Boston in the drugs department. The reason why I would like to be in this department is because growing up I was always surrounded by student in my schools who did drugs and I just noticed how it destroyed their lives. NO one should ever have to go through this especially if they don't know exactly what they are getting themselves into. How can you offer something to someone who has no knowledge on the topic at hand. At this point in time I will already have my own apartment and saving to buy a house with my girlfriend.
     One day on the job there was a shoot out. It got really out of control. As I was going for cover I got shot in my back. I woke up in the hospital with my family around me. The doctor said that I was lucky to even be alive. I had no feeling in my legs and the doctor told me that i was going to be in a wheel chair for a while. I wasn't going to let this stop me. I started doing physical training, I was progressing little by little. It was alot of hard work but after nearly a year i was able to do what i as normally doing again.
      One day I was walking to the store to grab some food for the house. Before leaving i decide to grab a lottery ticket. Im not sure why for the fact i hate the idea of giving poor people a thought that they can possibly win so much money but its so hard to win. Its just like they keep taking your money. When I got home I scratched the ticket and I won 1,000,000 dollars ! Now I can take care of my family the way I always wanted to. I will be able to take them on vacation and spoil them. I can pay off my physical therapy bills right now.

These image all relate to me because these things express the type of person i am and who i want to become. Growing up i was always around my family. Family is everything for me, no matter what you do or say you can always go back to your family. When i grow up i want to be a family man, working as a police officer. I want to give my family everything mines couldn't. I want to be able to put a stop to all the crime that goes on in my community.

My passion

                I'm passionate at working hard for what i want. For the most part i don't really do things for me but for the people who i care about around me. My life has never really been about me it jut been for the people i care about and want to help . I enjoy talking to people about things that they have went through in their lives . The things that they enjoyed in their life the difficult things they faced in their lives. What they remember as a child and what they want to be as an adult. I wish i could just talk to people about their life and dreams. i want to be there to give them guidance and advice. sometimes people just like it when you take a chance and listen to them .
           They have a good amount of careers that are somewhat similar with what i am interested in. I can tie my passion with a career because who wouldn't want to do something they love doing a everyday job . I have already done some volunteer work in a elderly home. It was a very great feeling seeing that these people are happy to have your company that it really makes a difference for them. i can see myself doing this in the future being a great person helping people who really need.
          I would like to talk to children who are less fortunate about their life. I want to see what are the challenges they are facing in their lives. I want to see what they have planned for their future what they think the world is really about. This will provide a better understand and higher knowledge of what these children are going to need to succeed in this world . These children most likely will never have the chance to do anything they want so it is up to us people to have a chance at changing this to make sure these young children have a better future .

The Alchemist

The plot in this book is that he started as a Shepard and one day he had a dream about treasure in Egypt for him. He then ask a gypsy woman and the old man who was the king of Salem. They both said to go get the treasure. On the way he got robbed but he wasn't  letting that stop him, he continued to get to his destination and find his treasure and when he made it there, the treasure was his heart the whole time. The thesis to the book is that you should never give up on what you believe in and  that nothing should stop you from your personal legend, you should always follow your heart.

One part that really hit me in the book is the part where Santiago's new friend that he trusted stole money off him after saving his life and instead of Santiago giving up he looked for a job to get all the money back within a year to continue his journey to find his treasure, he did not give up. He wanted this treasure and not even the love of his life could stop him from this. This relates me because I was very close to this girl but I wanted to go to this school that would help me get the education I felt I needed to get for my future. The school was a bit far and if we were meant to be we will be.

Something I didn't like about the book is that it did not really catch my attention until the part where he got all is money stolen by the person he trusted and from that part on it got way more interesting, I just wish the author made it interesting as soon as I read it, the only reason I continued to read the story is because I had to; however, when it reached the more interesting more I started to enjoy it. I like how the author made it seem like there was really a treasure and he used different characters to show proof of that, which made me curious if he finds this treasure or not. I also like how the book has a point and teaches a lesson to us.

Yes, I would recommend this book because it shows a message about not giving up and a lot of people in this world struggle with believing in themselves and putting themselves down and this book would probably help them stay strong and get through it. It can also help people who do not follow their dreams and just do what their parents or friends want them to do, instead of doing what they want to do.
