I worked at Fenway park for the Red Sox Baseball season. That had to be the best job I've ever had for the fact that everyday was like a busy party! It may have been busy but that's what I liked about it , you always have something to do. I also liked that they had a lot of different food variety. The best thing about it was that it was weekly pay and it was the best pay I ever had from any job. I also met a lot of famous and well known people.
At Fenway I worked in the concessions and i would have to help prepare food, hand food out , clean the condiment stations and transport products throughout the park. I had a real fun time everyone there is really nice and funny. It i only a seasonal job so a lot of the other people there have really cool year round jobs. Some guy I met had his own clothing company and a website to sell all his things. You can always find work to do here because its just a huge place and a lot has to be done.
The people there are very friendly they will help you with almost anything. If you're not familiar with what to do in the work area you can always ask someone for help. If you are hungry all you need to do is ask one of the people who deals with all the food to see if they can give you something. The fenway family is big , there are about 500-700 employees. For the most part everyone gets along and sometime we all get together to have a basket ball or football game at the park down the street. It just a great experience working there with such great people and such a fun tie going on.
hip hop poem
I'm very smart
I'm full with heart
where ever i go i bring evil apart
but most importantly
I play my part
anywhere i go i go hard
of course its go hard or go home
and I'm never home
and I'm never alone
I'm just with these people busy
getting all this money
being a man while you boys are acting funny money
but I don't do that buddy
I stay on my grind
and keep a clear open mind
once time passe by
everything will be fine
Genaro,
ReplyDeleteGood post... a little short in length, but I think that you expressed some real gratitude about a job that most people would envy. Working at Fenway is a bit of a big deal, whatever the position. I'm glad that you found it to be a fun experience - very rewarding and even exciting, I'm sure. Good to know that good people work there and take care of each other in a common camaraderie.
Your poem is good too. It gets better and more creative as it goes on. It picks up momentum. My only suggestion would be to write more. Extend. Expand. Spit more rhymes... see what comes out!
